Your Skin Will Thank You (tm)

Welcome to the new ShadeZone web site!

Chances are that if you are visiting this site, it is because you already know that it is important to keep track of what is happening on your skin.

While it's never too late to start, the earlier the better!

Early detection of suspicious spots on your skin is the goal.

Sure, you're busy.  But it is important that you make the time to do monthly skin self-examinations, or as often as your doctor tells you to do them.  Many people do annual self-exams on their birthday, because it's an easy date to remember.  You can do a complete skin self-exam in less time than it takes to watch a half hour TV show.

Don't forget to give your children frequent skin examinations as well.

As you browse through the site, please keep in mind that the information  presented is not intended to take the place of a visit to your doctor or your doctor's medical advice.  The site is designed to help you become aware of what lesions look like, and is not meant to be diagnostic.  You should visit your doctor as often as he or she recommends to have your skin examined.  You and your doctor should work as a team to determine if certain spots need further attention.
