Squamous Cell Carcinoma is considered the second most dangerous type of skin spot. They are usually, but not always, raised, red or pink scaly areas or wart-like growths with a raw center. As with all skin spots, there is a wide variation in the way they might look, so it is important to get the advice of a qualified physician.

Don't be scared if you find something that looks unusual to you. Take action! If you have a spot that looks suspicious, visit your doctor to have it checked. Some spots that don't look dangerous can turn out to be a problem, and some spots that look bad may turn out to be okay. Only your doctor can tell you for sure!
